In this e-learning course, we introduce the basic principles of biostatistics. The aim of the course is to enable you to describe and analyse your own data with the appropriate statistical tests and learn how to interpret the obtained results. The theory is supported by exercises in the statistical software package SPSS and the R statistical programming language. By the end of the course, you should be able to understand and perform simple statistical analyses and select the an appropriate way of analysing your own data.
